Thanks guys I guess I'm driving back! I'll probably cruise most of the time just to save some gas. I might even take a week off and turn it into a mini vacation.

That trip definitely looks interesting.

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 10:57 PM

You will travel through Kingman which is about 60 miles east of the Cali boarder. Maybe we can hook up for lunch or dinner on your way through. If you make a vacation of it you could also make a trip to Vegas as well if you are into that sort of thing. There are a bunch of Z&G folks there.

cycy89 03-09-2014 11:01 PM

Definitely! I might spend the night somewhere in AZ

The drive... BORING... Holy crap it's boring... Mind blowingly boring...

See the Grand Canyon, if you like Breaking Bad, see the stuff in the ABQ, then drive non stop to Amarillo-ish, check out Cadillac Ranch, eat a 8307664oz steak, then back home

cycy89 03-09-2014 11:17 PM

I've been to Grand Canyon, abq, I lived in nm for 3 years lol. Might stop by Vegas tho!

I say stop by in Vegas. Might as well make it a vacation. C&c Saturday would be interesting to say the least. Possibly 4 Boosted Zs! If you come through.

You got that right about not much to see, but it's better than the southern route down I-10 and there is no such thing as boring when you are driving boosted. Long open roads become a playground of fun....:p

Nixlimited 03-10-2014 09:15 AM

Don't go the southern route. I have done that route and it's mind-numbing. Good luck no your drive home!

I made this drive in college. Funny thing is it was exactly 1,500 miles from Austin. As others have stated....ITS BORING!!!

Now I didn't have a bad@ss turbo kit on my car when I made it, so....maybe it won't be that bad.

Chuck33079 03-10-2014 10:10 AM

Can't be worse than I-10. I could have set cruise control as I left San Antonio and fallen asleep. Honestly, if your alignment is good enough, you'd wake up in El Paso still in your own lane. :rofl2:

cycy89 03-10-2014 10:12 AM

Definitely not going through el Paso lol

JaZon 03-10-2014 08:21 PM

Hey El Paso is awesome :)

cycy89 03-10-2014 08:25 PM

Lol I've been there. The only reason im there is for climbing at hueco tanks

The drive will give you a chance to check things out at your heart desire. Also you will be able to give Tony & Dan some awesome feedback on the kit as you make your way home! There are a lot of folks waiting to hear what you have to say.

:iagree: I am one of those waiting to hear and if you do come via I40 I would love to check out your ride here in Albuquerque if you can make it a stop.

djtodd 03-11-2014 02:22 PM

Ha. Someone else wanted to "borrow" my brakes

Think his car is already with Seb for the install; unless I read the update from Tony wrong.

Correct, the car is at SpecialtyZ. Sebastian is doing his thing already working on it (to the best of my knowledge).

RoyaltyB,

To answer your pm about the "FAST-500" fuel system and what it pertains to...

It is widely known that the stock 370Z fuel system sucks, for the lack of a better term! Forced induction really exploits the flaws in it. We have come to the conclusion through extensive testing on multiple cars along with the help from Charles@CJM & Sebastian@SpecialtyZ that the fuel system needs an overhaul. We have been working with Charles, incorporating his components and testing on Sebastian's dyno to come up with a simple fuel system upgrade to go with our Twin turbo kit.

We are currently in testing phase and Nixlimited's car will be the first.

Stay tuned...

Thanks, Tony

As soon as we get it dialed in you will hear from us.

Mini Update,

1 a.m. PST here on the West Coast. Burning that midnight oil as we call it! Plugging away on our Installation Manual. I am about 50 hours in at this point. Making great progress but still at least 50+ hours from being completed. Damn this is a ton of work but we fully grasp how important this manual is for ease of installation to the shops and end consumers installing our TT Kit.

Side note...Had a very productive phone meeting with Charles from CJM earlier this evening. Looking forward to the future!

Ok, back to the manual...

Goodnight!

Tony

I don't know if this fits, but I'm making it fit:
( Click to show/hide )

If only we were all rich and famous to be able to afford your TT kit!!!
The again, Cy is a good guy and I'm glad his car is on his way to being done, and RoyaltyB couldn't be a better guy to fill the lost position either.
And nklear... He's gotten into trouble already, lol

Was thinking the same thing. Wanted to say the mind would be fresher the next day, but you can't tell someone to sleep (when they won't anyway) when they are making their dreams come true.

Besides, he is (they all are) FUELED BY PASSION!

RoyaltyB 03-12-2014 03:47 AM

And thanks Andrew...still got some saving to do though. LOL

RoyaltyB 03-12-2014 03:48 AM

Sorry, shameless FI fan boy plug...and proud.

Brother,

My mind has 9,999 things going through it at all times! Dan has 10x that amount.

We greatly appreciate the compliment and look forward to equipping that beautiful 2014 NISMO later this year.

Thanks, Tony

DEpointfive0 03-12-2014 04:18 AM

I look forward to everything FI

But with that, good night
