Wow. That's a pretty set of manifolds. Can't wait for results.

bullitt5897 01-17-2013 04:22 PM

Tony,

Congrats! I know this has been in the works for a while now! I cant wait to see the results.

phelan 01-17-2013 04:23 PM

Looks brilliant. Well done Tony. Good luck selling 600+ of these kits ;)

Cell 01-17-2013 04:30 PM

expected price for a turn key kit?

Chemy 01-17-2013 05:54 PM

Been waiting for a few months to hear about this. Now I'm excited! When I run it by the wife and she says "whatever you want to do" as she shakes her head, thats a win in my book!!

Those look great Tony.

GotAir523 01-17-2013 06:52 PM

holy crap those are beautiful! i cannot wait to see the final specs on these

UnckleFunkle 01-17-2013 07:11 PM

1cleanZ 01-17-2013 08:30 PM

Congrats Tony! This truly marks a whole new beginning for Fast Intentions and TT'd Z/G's everywhere!! An amazing piece of work and craftsmanship, only to be expected by none other then you!

GrooveStyle 01-17-2013 08:53 PM

Looks awesome!! I can tell some real engineering went into this, can't wait for more details!

SPOHN 01-17-2013 10:02 PM

Interesting concept. Never been a big fan of V-band clamps though. Pricing will make or break this kit compared to other vendors. Would I buy it? Sure.

JungleZ 01-17-2013 10:51 PM

Day ummm sucks to live on Cali, I would hate to have this kit on and then sent to the state ref
I need to move because of this! Haha tony is the man

Lol

SgtGoldy 01-18-2013 07:52 AM

so end of summer/early fall for the G37?

Okay heres the deal: my car is your test car. You give me the turbo system in the end. Everyone wins!!! (haha its not like you have your own g37 or hundreds of others who would allow you to test fit it or anything :ugh2:)

m3chhawk 01-18-2013 08:51 AM

Tony, show em the FMIC setup. It's my second favorite part (behind the manifolds of course).

Definitely post some pics of the cold side. I'm curious how you routed everything.

Sometime next week before we go to the dyno, I will post pictures of the entire kit fully assembled.

Thanks, Tony

What is it that you have against V-bands? They eliminate flange connection points with gaskets and hardware. When properly installed they virtually eliminate the chance of leaks. They give you a little more ease of installation. I also think that they clean up the look of things as well. To each his own though.

The prices will vary all depending on the stage purchased. Certain stages will be comparable as to what is currently on the market. We feel that the R&D, craftsmanship, quality, cleanliness, ease of installation and performance will sell this kit. In the end, it is always up to (you) the end consumer. We want to provide you with the best products possible in hopes to make your decision easier.

Thanks, Tony

Chuck33079 01-18-2013 10:28 AM

I love V-bands. I'd have paid a little extra for my kit to have used them. I'd also have paid a little extra to have received something to wrap/cover any braided lines (or even coated lines) so they don't chew through anything they touch. I had to go back and put rubber hose around mine at some points. It'd be nice to have that included.

elperuano 01-18-2013 11:09 AM

The kit looks amazing, after the awe factor passes tho I realized most of the piping with this kit won't be visible. Bling factor looks good but no point if its not gonna be able to be seen. Looks great and well thought out but I hope that doesn't make the price to up.
That being said, this kit looks awesome as hell and it's unfortunate all that bling factor won't be able to be seen.

:iagree: I would take vbands over flanges and gaskets every time.

This is great news! Tony's customer service and professionalism is excellent.

stevent85 01-18-2013 11:40 AM

are the turbo kits going to be made to order like your exhaust or are you planning on making a good number of them for sale? If its roughly a month wait for the exhaust i can only imagine what the wait will b for the turbo kit.

Ha ha, the exhaust has a 3 month wait. Our plan is to have everything readily available once production starts. We plan to stock up and have the turnaround time much shorter. My goal is once the order is placed the kit will ship within less than 2 weeks.

Thanks, Tony

Fly1 Motorsports 01-18-2013 12:08 PM

Looks outstanding Tony...glad you made this dream a reality for F.I. & the community. Quality & tremendous service will no doubt make this a successful venture for you guys, yet again!

Once I'm done prototyping my new body kit; I may have to send my 7AT your way :tiphat:

Looking forward to the dyno and installed pics

It is always nice to get the support from another vendor. I look forward to seeing your body kit. If you would like to send a car our way I can see about making the exhaust fit the rear valance.

Thank you, Tony

I agree. Damn, I love this. I dream of this kit with a Fast Int. exhaust system...

The Dimer 01-19-2013 12:46 PM

Are you guys going to dyno with test pipes/2.5" exhaust and the full blown 3" turbo-back?

I'd be interested to see how they compare.
