Good to know. I'm gonna start posting in some of your threads cuz I don't wanna throw of this tread too much. It was a long 300 pages, don't wanna fill it with more talks of off topic. Although, sometimes "off topic" conversations can be informative to the thread... sometimes.

Fast Intentions and countless others can acquire an used AWD G37 or damaged one and use it to built a product for the AWD platform. All I have been hearing is excuses from these companies.
If GTM did right by their consumers these companies would have had to step up there game to stay relevant. |

There goes enough in R&D and god knows what all. Fast Intentions is a business not a charity, If they see a market for it, I am pretty sure they would have done it already. Be aware that even the 370z market is not big itself, Let alone the fact that not all of that market even goes forced induction. Fast Intentions is one of those companies who have been constantly getting better and better. I am sure they have their own reasons for not building one yet. And why would they give you excuses ? Unless they owe you something and it is your right to get a TT Kit From FI whether they have it or not ? Mericaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???????? :stirthepot: |
R&D baby, it takes time for quality. Don't get your panties in a bunch cuz a companies not moving fast enough for your liking. Besides, Leroy nailed it, the market for the awd g37 isn't bigger than the 370z market and FI is putting in serious hours making sure this thing is gonna put the Z in beast mode without blowing up an engine. I'd rather wait for quality than rush into something and get ******. The bottom line about GTM is that they didn't do right by their customers and screwed a lot of people over in the end.
Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk I'm pretty sure Tony already said FI has plans for the G in this thread... |
FI isn't a big operation. They are handling their business perfectly and moving at a scale and pace they are comfortable with. They are moving vertically in select markets and platforms which is exactly what they should be doing.
Just ask GTM what happens when you move too fast horizontally and stretch beyond your resources. GTM didn't go under because they were crooked. They went under because they did the exact opposite of what FI is doing. Doing wrong by their customers was a byproduct. |

Well, that was the past. Now, I am ready to talk to Tony and see him in the next few weeks about a complete 500whp TT street set up. |
Anyone running turbo blankets?
|
What sadness me is the fact if something happens to my turbo kit I would
A: Have someone custom make a part. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ B: Trash the kit and purchase another one. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ GTM kit is nice and still has super low miles, but unless it's a turbo issue i'm **** out of luck. BTW anyone know where I can get new GTM manifolds? Just in case mine crack. |

At the risk of feeding the trolls, I have to respond. First, I don't know why you even bring up gtm in this thread. It's uncalled for and frankly, pointless. I don't think Tony and Dan have ever based their business decisions on what Sam, or anyone else, did. Second, if the demand were there, in sure they would look into the awd g market (a small slice of an already small market?!) But...they surely wouldn't buy a wrecked car to test it in. They would do it properly just like they did for the 370. Would you want to buy a kit that wasn't thoroughly tested on the road? Tony and Dan and company have the reputation they have, because they precisely avoid that type of half-cocked methodology. It's very easy to come on here and discuss how fi or others should spend their money. Lots of keyboard heroes. Considering the cost of developing a kit properly, I doubt they could sell enough awd kits to break even. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
