If you can afford one by all means. Its your choice.

But this is my opinion if you drive daily in the city with all the traffic and stop and go....Why bother to have a Turbo, you don't need all that power. But if the TURBO makes you feel good knowing you have the advantage when needed then go ahead. With the stock set up you can already smoke "MOST" of the cars out there. my 2 cents.

I want a TURBO but the problem I can't afford it.

Check out the Boosted Performance thread in this section of the forums, its a very nicely done single turbo build.

Single or twin are both pricey. I'd say $10k is a good amount to set aside...a bit more to cover the unexpected and supporting mods.

I would probably save that $10k for a down payment for a used GTR!!!

Unless you are going to install the turbo by yourself it will cost you a lot more than 10,000, with labor an SC install costed me 10k

You mean that includes the cost of the SC right? not just the labor cost to install?

Thats really high? Most stage 1-2 single and twin kits are 8k at most. 10k is a great area. THe only cheaper way to do it is to DIY it. My kit in progress is costing well under 10...
