Hmmm...not really a fan of that GT-R looking front bumper.

That person should of just bought a GT-R :)
Its not bad but its also not my taste. |
I'm really mixed on that front bumper as well.
I do like how the intercooler gets adequate air flow but air can also flow through the top opening to the radiator and possibly filter down to an oil cooler. |
Well that front bumper will not be made, they stated it was an one off bumper for SEMA I believe.

I think their fascia would be a great fit for any form of FI. |

I don't know if it's been mentioned but the Greddy car is on the cover of the Apr 2010 D-Sport Magazine. They show some good pics and a nice write up. They also featured Greddy's turbo'd 350Z (VQ35HR) making just under 800HP. |

I might buy it later just for that article. |
LOL take it to a couch and take the plastic off.
Also to avoid mis-info the 350 had a build block ect. Not the off the shelf kit. |
|
Looks really good. Don't know why they still use a piggyback for engine management, though.

... just have to wait on Haltech  |
Haltech or V-Pro the only way to go. A good tune is what is going to make your tt reliable.

interesting =]

I have been waiting for this day for what seems like, forever. The kit looks top notch with excellent potential.

Must See! GReddy 370z TWIN TURBO Kit!!!

Looks like the first kit came in:

Nice to see Greddy back in the game. As far as I remember last time reading they were broke, but glad some one is making sure they are around as name recognition is key to success.

Am I the only one wondering why there are no blow of valves?
|
This kit looks very promising. GReddy quality is normally top-notch. The price is a bit high, but compared to buying a much more expensive car with similar whp (like a porsche turbo or gt-r), it's a steal!

The Greddy TT install is going well. We had the motor pulled , the hard to reach components on and the motor back in the car in 24hrs. All of the components so far seem to be of the highest quality and install easily. It's a tight fit back in the car, but we only had to make one modification. There are 2 small ears that the undertray attach to that had to be removed to clear the oil pan.... 5min set back tops.... more to come with pics later.

Don't understand, flat bottom comment?
More than one way to skin a cat. |
splitter is continuous from the front edge of the bumper past the center of the front axle.... we are using only a few of the factory mounting points
|
Gotcha

As I stated in an earlier post the install is going well. We have been waiting the last few days on the balance of our return fuel system. If everything comes in the car will be buttoned up in a few days. The car is scheduled to be tuned on Monday.
I've made detailed notes of the install. If anyone has questions I'll be glad to answer them. Here's a couple of pics |

jay,
Your car looks amazing. It looks like you are building a track monster. I notice that you are running an aftermarket radiator. I was curious as to who makes it? Anyways, any feedback you can offer about the oil temps. would be greatly appreciated. I know I keep asking in various turbo threads, but its the Greddy kit that I'm particularly interested in. Mostly because they have oil lubricated and cooled turbos. I look forward to seeing the progress. |

We buttoned up the install on Sunday. Most of our time has been spent on modifications to all the ancillary systems on the car. The Greddy potion was probably the easiest part. As this car is a track only car, there has been a lot of attention given to details that may not be necessary on a street car.
This install was done in my 3 car garage on jack stands. (I do have an engine lift) We received the install manual after the motor was back in the car. This gives some idea of how well it goes together! Other than rerouting the fuel line, there is very little fab or modification required. CJ provided us with a return fuel system that installed in a few hours. The car fired right up. No leaks. No issues. We are using a Greddy Informetter Touch as a gauge package, and I can't imagine they will be able to keep them on the shelves. This is the coolest device I've seen in a while. If you love you I-Phone this is a must have! We'll see if it can survive track duty... The car is heading to Sharif's shop this morning to be tuned. Should have some numbers soon. |
Man, that's awesome! Can't wait to read more about your car.
|
Looks Great!
