There would still be more drive-train loss due to the transfer case being connected to the drive-shaft compared to a full rear wheel drive G. |
When you get the cogs on start with the stock pulley that comes with the kit. You will see more boost with that pulley than the 9 pound Stillen pulley I think around 10-11 PSI
Here is my old graph with the Maf's maxed out @6600 Rpm's with the small intake Stock Stillen pulley. You should be able to leave where I left off at. http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/7296/scstd.jpg |

do you have any pictures of that set-up |
Same^^^ would like to see detailed pics please.
|
Will have full pics when I get the car back, I just spoke to Stillen and Vortech sent my SC back to them yesterday, So they should see it today and be able to send it back to me. I also asked them about a one off intake for my set up. 2.75", Still have yet to find someone to build it.

What did you make with the 9PSI pully 425ish? |
With that pulley I was seeing 11psi at redline

what WHP and TQ numbers would you see with a 9lb (11psi) pulley??? im guessing very close to 500whp... |
Quote:
No? Around 450-460. |
Really?!? 460whp seems very low for 11psi of boost. Lol. I would never want to go past 8-10psi on a stock block

??? There are guys over 500WHP on stock blocks? Remember the SC builds boost all the way to redline, Unlike a turbo where you see ALL the boost at once, 460WHP @11 psi is really good. I'm shooting for 14 and 500, Proably not goin to get there but want to be close, |
Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Is a SC safer then turbo on a stock block then ??? |
