GTM - I beg you....

Please finish up the supercharger CARB cert. I pick up my new 370z on Friday and after a break in period, I want to go with your product. I'd prefer to have that magic little "sticker" somewhere on there :icon17:

I agree. California emissions suck!

Now hold on. "Emissions" usually blow, not suck, even in California.

+1

I emailed Sam about that with no response. He probably missed my email again.

Not sure how much they care about the CARB certificate. When I asked Mike at GTM about their twin turbo package passing the CA emissions sniffer test he wrote back:

If you are concerned about that sort of thing, then TT is probably not the best option for you.

I contacted GTM a week ago in regards of the CARB kit and I was informed that their car does not have enough miles on it to complete the CARB certification.

So I guess more people should test drive their SC car no? lol :driving:

Yes, the best option should be a CARB certified supercharger kit, which they have been saying they would have for 2 years is it now?

The point of this thread is to demonstrate there is demand so they can prioritize it correctly.

I was told the same thing. I'm sure if they strike a discount deal with a customer, they could have a car to get final approval against..

Bump for update from GTM. They must have missed this thread the first time.

They are working on it, but CARB is very strict and any little change you modify on the design has to be re-approved. Not sure why they have not gotten yet, only GTM knows, but I am sure there is a reason.

They "worked" on it. They don't seem to be "working" on it.

Have you tried calling and asking?

We've already given him the answer along with everyone that e-mails us and asks about it.

Our shop Z with the supercharger kit for CARB testing does not have enough miles on it for certification. That is the reason why they did not pass the car. They could have told us before we paid $5k for the testing but they were happy to take our money and tell us after the fact. So, once we put the proper mileage on it, we'll be back at it. You gotta love the process.
