Whether you think we're working on it or not is on you. You do know what assumptions are right?

Dear MMC Racing,

Please stop pestering GTM. If you want a CARB certified supercharger kit and cannot wait, please go ahead and build one yourself. The guys at GTM are putting out new and innovative products left and right and are well respected on this forum for the hard work they put into their products. A lot of work and money goes into these kits. Repeatedly pestering these guys publicly is likely not appreciated. A reminder that you are still interested from time to time via PM or phone call would probably suffice.

God forbid you have to wait to get the exact product you want delivered soon after you get your 370Z. I bought my 370Z the day they went on sale in the US and am still waiting patiently for the right forced induction application to be offered (GTM is developing the kit right now).

Do yourself a favor if you can't wait and get an exhaust, get UpRev, or get wheels; if you can't stop nagging GTM, get bent.

Now, hows about we all hug and get along and for the love of all that is holy, lock this thread?

Move out of Cali......problem solved. No need for CARB stickers back east here.
Soon as I complete my house re-finiance.....I'm going Stage 1.5......

This is a perfect opportunity for you to spell it out then. What is your plan, including timetable, to deliver a CARB certified kit?

Give it a rest Mark!

I don't see how I'm being unreasonable here. The kit is 2 years overdue. A status of we will try again when the shop car hits 5000 miles provides no value. Sam may put 100 miles a year on the shop car.

All I want to see is "based on the current mileage and the miles we expect to put on the car and factoring in our other priorities, we expect to be ready to try again between Jan and March of 2013"..

I don't see what is so hard about this. I want to buy this kit, but it is vaporware right now.

Then what happens when they do not fall into the "window" they provide do you cry more? It isnt like it is your car at the shop they are getting the CARB approval with, then I would agree with you. If the Z isnt fast enough for you trade it in for something that is faster from the factory.

For the price of the Z plus FI there are a lot of nice cars in that price range. They are CARB approved off the lot!

Ok, since my last post didn't do the trick I'll give it another shot.

Dear MMC Racing,

Please go ahead and purchase the supercharger kit. If you need to pass smog, just disconnect the belt, or put it back to stock, or whatever it takes. As of right now, that's the current price of admission to playing the "supercharged 370Z in California" game.

Your Friend,

Can a brother get a lock up in this biatch?

Moving out of Cali solves all kinds of problems, it's a win-win-win-win-... proposition.

Yeah, except for leaving a place where it makes sense to have a sports car year round, and having access to some of the most amazing natural driving areas in the U.S. That being said, I do miss my MSR Houston membership and easy track access...
