No, not just a tuning issue. I have noticed a few manufacturers claim crazy numbers (from small GT35r trubos), and then you get a sh!t show on the forums from pissed off customers who thought the kit will make the power advertised. Seen this over last few years.

Throw a little race fuel in the tank and bump the timing and presto, big dyno numbers for marketing materials.

Results will be A LOT different on 91 octane.

Very true, but then that should be mentioned in the add for the kit. I would much rather tell the customer the truth than be acused of false advertising once they don't get the same numbers and are unhappy.
