It seems to be going faster than my build...time bought to finish was almost 6 months. Just hope you have better luck than what I'm having. You have to cause I doubt your installers are "special" like the ones who installed mine.

I don't know about keeping the stock cats bro. Besides the fact that they are extremely restrictive and a set of test pipes doesn't cost much more especially when you've already invested so much. I remember seeing one vid on here of a member who had bad cats and trust me there was more than just "dust" coming out of the rear pipes. I personally would be terrified, one small to medium chunk of the cat filler will erase all your hard work and cost you a new turbo.

Money ain't the issue at all it's just the sound and smell you get from test pipes

I currently have long tube headers, before that I had GTM unresonated test pipes. The fumes aren't that bad, I only caught a whiff upon startup and when sitting at long lights.

I was gonna get lth but just left it stock , the car is off the lift and the install is pretty much done maybe later when I get my boost controller I'll switch em out but probly not tbh I trust STS over anyone else with this. They've done thousands of vehicles and theres like what a handful of vehicles that this happened to ? I'm more worried about the problems people have been having with the tranny

The m6 transmissions have held up under boost better than the 7at. You might want to look into and aftermarket clutch and csc but that modification is a lot less than the four grand the 7at guys will have to throw down for a built transmission.

Curious how this turns out. Pictures I've seen of the STS looks like the turbo could hit speed bumps and the like, but maybe it's just the angle of the pics?

The turbo is actually quite high the pipe that's low is the exhaust pipe comin down from the turbo and is say its about 1/2 inch higher then stock exhaust

Sub'd. Build looks great and I'm really wanting to see the results. I may purchase this kit in the future.
