No its not because the problem started recently.

No its not because the problem started recently.

Having the trans cooler mounted upside down is not a problem. But when you do , It will cause the fluid to drain back to the trans and that will give you a faulty indication of the fluid level in the trans, The system is not that big and all it takes is a half a quart low on fluid for the trans to act up .
