:happydance:

If you have an AT and want to go SC/TT, and order the tranny upgrades at the same time, will there be a slight discount?? :rofl2:

Does the stage 2 SC kit come with an oil cooler? And what's the typical HP/tq one the turn key unit with stock internals? Thanks, sorry for noob quest...

Is this an S/C only related problem, I thought some TT guys had the same problem right? It's just the TQ in general is too much right?

In my case there wasn't enough fluid in the tranny and the lines were relocated and were leaking. Leak was fixed but fluid wasn't added causing my tranny to go out. Tranny cooler ad valvebody would be very critical for forced induction automatic cars.

I bet. But you did get some impressive numbers beforehand. How much of an improvement was the meth injection? Is that a separate kit I'm assuming? Did you also go with the traction control or no?

What fool relocated your lines with out topping up your tranney fluid especially if you have a cooler on it. leak ? and no top up. up here a tranney cost 9000.00 fluid is 16.50 a litre !
So you took out your tranney ?
If you even detect a shift problem you aways chech the fluid. and its a major pain to fill it. Could take 2 or 3 times to get it full. Trust me i know all about getting it full after i changed the converter. The nissan dealer has no idea how to fill if he uses the nissan factory procedure. You also have to have the traney temp at the right temp as you fill it.

they shift like crap when there low especially from 4th to 5th.

so elim my 6.5 psi sc'd G still faster then your slow a$$ N/A Z!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Z eliminator 09-04-2011 03:18 PM

unless you post a time slip faster that 12.42 your slower than me. My car is quick as hell just ask the guy with the ZR1 vette.
I had him by 2 ft at the 1/8 mile.before he went by me. The 4.08 gears make me way faster than your SC.

gbrettin 09-04-2011 05:22 PM

If you're able to get one at a good price, is the install literally as simple as unbolt the driveshaft, unbolt the axels, swap units, rebolt everything? Or is there more to it then that?

I'd like to do this to make the 7AT have some more balls...

Or would it be better sticking to something less aggressive, say a MT diff instead which is at 3.69 or 3.99 right??
