Default F.I. and oil viscosity???

I have about 4K on the GTM SC and motor since I installed the SC. It has used maybe 200ml in that time which is pretty miniscule. I am currently running Redline 5W30.

What weights are people running and why???

I have had several people tell me that it would be better to run 0W30 but no one could give me a really concrete answer on why it would be better...

Been running Redline 5w30 for awhile and it is fine.
Did the first couple changes during the install & afterwards with Nissan Ester just because we were changing the oil out a few times so I did not want to spend a ton on Redline.

I like the German castrol (0w30). I run it in my z. Smoother cold starts, better UOA results, and lower running temps.

It is a good oil that happens to be 0w though... It's not a function of it being 0w. Don't switch just to switch-- switch if it let's you run superior oil.
