With meth I think this kit will do very well you can go a little more aggressive on the tune by adding more timing. This will result in better numbers.

Dzel 07-24-2011 12:14 PM

Did I miss the new price?

What kind of maintenances are required to prolong the lifespan on the kit and engine? Sorry, FI is something i am not familiar with

Here is the maintenance intervals required.

SC fluid every 50 k
SC belt every 50 k
SC air filter every other oil change (cleaning service )

As for engine oil changes, I change the oil on my car every 2 to 3 k .

I guess I'm asking if there is or will be a 12psi pulley or if exhaust / test pipes would get you there or at least really close. I really like the power delivery on the SC kits but its hard to argue with the torque numbers on the TT kits.

We have seen 400 RWTQ on an aggressive pulley and tune combo.

So yes the kit can deliver taht .

Adding a meth kit will always bring in a lot of benefits to a Supercharger system, couple of the car we are testing in house have meth kit on them. will be posting more info soon.

Stage 2 tune

In the last few weeks i have been working on finalizing the tune that we will be supplying with our stage 2 turn key kit . The stg 2 system will have bigger injectors and other components that will help stabilize the fuel pump press and volume output. What we are looking to accomplish here is repeatability in the outcome, So our customer will have the same results that we are having in house.

So we finished installing a stage 2 system on one of the test cars we have, flash it with a can tune to see what will it do and drove it way just like an installer or a do it yourself-er will do.

The results were perfect, great drivablty in all aspect. Next thing we put the car on the dyno without touching the tune. the car did 517 RWHP and 377 RWTQ @ 11 PSI.

Here is some pics of this amazing machine

We can but will it work, Not sure .

Dzel 07-28-2011 09:00 AM

So if I bought this kit and had my FI exhaust already on it will it give me any fitment issues?

KaienZ34 07-28-2011 09:40 AM

I think the only exhaust parts that won't work with this kit are FI long tube headers, any HFC's or any CBE system will be fine.

sinceday1 07-28-2011 10:08 AM

Where is the airfilter located?
Looks like with StgII you keep your washer fluid reservoir?

Thanks

KaienZ34 07-28-2011 11:26 AM

I would guess they go in the same spot as the stg I, they just hadn't gotten that far for that pic. again this is just my guess.

The stage 2 will retain the windshield washer bottle, the filter is on the back of the supercharger . Will have more detail pics in our press release.

I don't really like how these non-gtm exhaust parts are said to "not work". I think they would benefit the kit, if they were able to fit (LTH).

We're not saying that only GTM exhaust parts will work with the kit. As far as cat-backs, test pipes and HFC's, stock and aftermarket are concerned, they work just fine with our Stage 2 kit.

It is not desirable to go with a large diameter cat-back because this system needs some back pressure to work well. Besides, one of the main reasons for going with a supercharger as opposed to a twin turbo is for the additional bottom end torque the supercharger provides.

That's what Sam's comment was about.

As for the LTH, they are physically larger than the factory headers and there's just not enough room for them to coexist with the larger supercharger system. Besides, the Stage 2 Supercharger makes 500+whp on the stock exhaust...what more do you want?

Dzel 07-28-2011 04:24 PM

So I should be fine with my CNT TP's and and FI CBE exhaust thats 2.5 then.

leighspped 07-28-2011 04:44 PM

So the consences is that this SC will not work properly/fit with fast intentions header? I just want to be sure

We have yet to test fit the FI LTH with the Stage 2. That said, we pretty much don't need to, because there's just not a whole lot of room for the two to coexist. You are welcome to try, but you might have to modify the headers.
