I am at 8 psi right now.

What info are you looking for as far as reliability? The car starts and runs like stock until you get on it. I had a slight hot start issue and that was fixed by Sam with a tweak to the tune. I put 8000 miles on the car last summer. I changed the oil twice.

So far it has been no less reliable than a stock z.

I hope I didn't just jinx myself with that one.

Nope. The block is 100% stock. If I have my way then I will have an upgraded block by next year. The wife knows its on the list.

Nice man. I want to go FI on my car next summer. I think 400-450 whp would set me right. I just worry how reliable it would be on a stock block

PS:
I watched your youtube videos and that is one mean sounding Z so awesome

What will make or break an engine is the tune, that's the most important aspect in the whole build.

People daily drive 450 - 530whp without issues.

Great work on a great car. Watched all videos biting my lip with an ear to ear grin. Just inspiring! It sounds great. I could just imagine that car in a CA highway and taking on the twisties along the coast.

Ha ha. Nope. I know I don't have much of a chance from a dig but I'd love to see how I'd do from a 30mph roll.

Yes. That's exactly what it is.

Even with this it's still extremely nerve racking to drill into the head. I wasn't sure I had done it right until I was able to tighten up the manifold. Hell, I'm still worried that I did something wrong. I guess I'll find out the first time I push the start button.

Was that flange provided in the kit? Or is that something you happened to fab up? If not can you point me in the direction of where I could possibly get that jig in order to drill and tap my head. Thanks in advance! :tiphat:

The pic where your tapping the block is that a flange to help with aligning the tap?

Do you by chance have any info on that flange jig that was used for tapping the head in order to put on the passenger side turbo manifold, i.e. If it was part of the kit itself or do you by chance know where I can acquire one?? Thanks in advance! :tiphat:

The flange came with the kit. I don't know how you can get another. You could try to contact the new owners of the kit manufacturer and see if they can get one to you.
I sent the one I had to another member on here about a year ago but I can't remember who it was. Start a new thread and see if someone has one from their install. They aren't needed afterward.
