I'm not sure why you keep saying we advertise our kit as 460whp. We have said this time and again, not to mention it is on our website, that our Stage 1 Supercharger kit is rated as 500hp. The reason why we rate it in hp, is that there are too many variables involved in wheel horsepower numbers: temperature, elevation, gas quality, dyno type (and dyno setup), and the car itself.

So far, we have many customers that have installed the system and they are on target for the average horsepower we anticipated. At no point did we ever say that our kit is going to make 460whp.

Take the same exact supercharger and install it on an engine that doesn't have crazy overlap (read VQ35HR), and the kit is capable of making 487whp without any special intakes and on stock cats and HKS cat-back exhaust. That's with full control over cam timing (intake and exhaust).

Do you think those power levels will be unlocked on the VQ37 with your VVEL controller?

I think he's geting it from the first SC anouncment page:

GTM Performance Engineering 370Z SUPERCHARGER KIT PRESS RELEASE

toward the bottom of the page.
The mistake he made is that you do claim 468 BHP, not whp. To be fair to him, you do show 452 hp on a stg1 graph @ 8 lbs that seems to indicate whp (never seen BHP displayed on an actual dynograph before). Mostly, just a misunderstanding.
