Ive never seen a centrifugal setup hit peak boost before redline, usually they keep building pressure. If theres something I dont know (probably the case), is there a way to make a larger higher flowing compressor hit peak (8psi) boost even sooner and hold it to redline? Either way, thats pretty bad ***. Are the kits workable with the LTH yet? PSI/Power drops?

it has a lot to do the VVEl and the VE of the VQ37VHR engine, same blower on a VQ35HR is doing 14 psi and over 470RWHP .

Any update on the 7AT issue?

Not sure what are you seeing, It is making solid boost all the way to red line and even hitting 9 psi at times.

Just out of curiousity, what habits should 7AT guys avoid that cause these issues?

Do not drive like Shumby's wife.
Do not let your wife drive the car.

Looks and sounds great. My interest is sparked.

Any idea if and when this SC will get a Carb Cert. ?

SAM@GTM 12-31-2010 05:19 PM

Customer opted to run test pipes on the car so we threw a set of the GTM resonated test pipes and went back on the dyno with the same tune same gas. Here are the results with some pics .

Better HP and torque and no effect on the tune, Also no rasp and it did not sound bad art all .

Sam, what was the outside temperature when you were making these runs?

^^Agreed. 4th gear in the 7at will bring you to ~190km/hr already, there really isn't a need to juice the car with 5/6/7... Unless you're tracking, then why not get 6mt for tracking...

Im curious to know if the 'VQ Hiss' is still there with SC setups. I know on TT setups its gone, but I just figured thats because there an impeller in the way acting as an accoustic modifier/ back pressure. Does the additional airflow and temperatures get rid of the hiss, or at least lessen it? Or, prehaps just as good, can you not tell because the SC sound and recirc valve is THAT awesome? :icon18:
