Hks evc 6

Has anyone used the boost by speed on the evc vi? Where is the speed signal wire in our cars and does this unit accept a direct signal feed?? Any other major concerns with this unit? looking for some feed back. thanks

Me and my buddy installed one and I want to say he had to tap into the speed signal wire.

I know the guy who was going to install one in my car when i was planning on getting that one said he was going to have to tap into my VSS wire for that, but said t wasn't a big deal because I have the bose system. To my understanding the cars with bose systems already have it in the oem harness connecting to the radio. Thanks it would be a lot of help!! i just dont want top buy it if it won't work with the boost to speed. i have base+sport. thanks frank!

I know it will work with are cars Jeremy (stormcrow) had this boost controller and that was hooked up. I am almost positive that it will connect to the VSS wire. if you don't have the bose you just have to drop the intrument cluster and there is a wire there you can tap into for the digital read out. I will make a ohone call for you tomorrow first thing in the morning my mechanic is not there at this hour and get you the exact answer. Aslo I want to say sam has the best price on these from what i have found and if you want I can call him and ask. He highly recomends this unit and installed a ton of them.

IF the wiring harness is the same as the g37 I know a site that shows which wire is the vss
