Default G37 engine logger

I'm looking for a device that can triple as a data logger, a boost controller, and something to edit car settings such as A:F, timing etc. Is there an all in one device that can do something like this?

Btw, this is for a turbo G37 build. And if a device like that isn't out there I was wondering if you guys had any prefferences to Z/G electronics for our boosted cars?

The car hasn't been built yet, I've been researching on and off for the past few months... and planning for the past year.

Thanks for the suggestion, is the Cipher connected through the driver side OBD II port? Or does it connect through directly to the car computer? Also is it recommended to constantly monitor A:F or knock even after the tuning stage? If it is I'd need a dedicated cluster or display.

Yea the HKS unit seems to be popular. I've seen some creative locations that people put them in. not sure Where I would put it yet.

Uprev Osiris + Cipher for tuning and datalogging.
HKS EVC for a boost controller.

Yup it connects to the OBDII port. You'll need a laptop though as it's merely a licensed cable and tuning software.

That sounds pretty nice, but the only draw back is no 24/7 monitoring without a laptop. I like using it for tuning, but is it not a problem that there's no "keeping an eye" on engine stats such as A:F ? and other importanties?

For forced induction I would install an HKS Camp 2, GReddy Infotouch or Blitz R-Vitz for constant monitoring.

Those look like nice devices, it's a shame that the units like the Greddy touch can't do boost control as well, but I do like the price point of the device and the functionality. Thanks for the suggestions!

Btw, do you have any suggestions for placement for boost controller and Engine monitoring lcd/gauges?

GTM uses the ash tray and sun glass holder for them.

HKS Camp 2 uses the factory screen. GReddy and Blitz come with their own screen. Personally I would mount them in the small area between the A-pillar and dash. Close to the OBDII port and not in the way.
