I've been working on how to put that power down to the ground ...
17" wheels with taller tires ... looking at either the M/T's 285/40 [28"],
or the Nitto 305/35 [26"]
I did get the 'small brakes' set up from Racing Brake - calipers and twin discs - to allow clearance the 17" wheels.
That should work out nicely - since I still have the big master cylinder and lines.
Will see how this all works on stock suspension.
If it still needs more I will have to take it to a race shop for their advice.

At 16 psi I made 680 with my aam kit, don't you think the numbers are on the low end. I am just curious bro thats all.

Yeah i know. It was tune on a mustang dyno which i know reads low but it seems this one reads even lower dammit. I was like "really?" "Do i need to hit 15psi to get over 500whp?" The BorgWagner turbos on the AAM kit are pretty damn impressive in making more horsepower at lower psi which i think are the main advantage over the Garrett turbos at least from what i have seen on the forum.

I'd say your numbers are the abnormal ones considering most stock C/R guys have to push just shy of 15 to get in the 650-700whp range on e85 of course it really depends on how aggressive your tuner wants to get also. My tuner said it wouldn't have been a problem to gain another 30 without even touching boost however I told him to keep thigns down for road course use.

Vss370, you are running 2.5" exhaust?? There is the issue right there. A 3" exhaust will get you extra 60hp

Unfortunately yes and i completely agree with you a 3" exhaust would help me a lot in giving me more hp.

clkio 03-08-2016 02:36 PM

Yes you are really restricting it with the 2.5". Why did you stick with that exhaust if u dont mind me asking?

I have had the exhaust for way before i decided i would go FI. Unfortunately proyects like this not always go as plan like many people know and i ended having to change shops to get the car running propertly which was my main priority so spending nearly $2k for a new exhaust was not ideal when i needed to do some fuel upgrades. Now i can say it is on the list to do.

Lol tell me about and it seems my only option is AAM.

The new full 3" Motordyne Shockwave is another but expensive exhaust alternative. That's what my AAM
TT will be hooked up to.
