lmao...well, cats out of the bag now. I was going to just tell sam that i was sending it back, or atleast the messed up pieces. I talk to some forum members and I seen a thread on here about a GTM stage 2 TT kit install by Z1 and it looks absolutly nothing like mine. In the thread the pipes were all packed with bubble wrap and the intercooler was also wrapped, mine came bare in a box I told sam about the piping being dented in at the connecting points and then I went back and was very thorough about my inspection and was when I noticed how bad everything really was. next day I had a couple ppl look at it in person (including chii) and all had the same response as chii. I'm not going to say anymore, i'd rather not create an arguement, but I wil return it or just what is messed up.

This hard to belive Every part that i have got from GTM has been perfect and so well wrapped and packed that it takes a long time to un package it.

and is y i was shocked at what i found. thats ok, i wish i got the same but didnt. everthing else is wrapped up. I'd rather not post up pictures but I can email you some.

I'd rather not create a conflict on GTM's major thread on the forum. I just thought I should back chii up on what he said so he dosent get burned.

Ok! This has officially ruined this thread. Couldn't start another at least? I assure it will be made right by GTM. Things happen. I'm am sorry for what happen. Just don't post it here in this thread. No harsh feelings.

oh god what is this **** :shakes head:.

what does the botched kit matter here.

As long as GTM is fixing it you shouldn't complain.

I myself most likely wont get GTM's TT kit but go for HKS their TT kit.

but I still immensely respect GTM for the work they are doing on our cars.

First of all this is the WRONG place to post this! Secondly, I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe SAM sold someone a new hacked up kit that was poorly made. You honestly are not in the "know" because if you where you would know this is the farthest from what GTM represents and what conditions their products are in. If Sam said it was damaged by shipping then it was damaged by shipping. I have Detailed pics of my first kit when it arrived and I will tell you every piece down to bolts was individually packaged!!! Then they were packaged in groups by part and then boxed as a kit piece. Not a single product have I gotten from GTM ever looked like a hacksaw came within a hundred yards of it.

I understand your concern for your friend and the kit he purchased from GTM. GTM has always been stand up in making sure things are fixed and made right. Destiny just talk to Sam and send him the pictures. He will fix what ever issue your having with parts. It took me nearly an hour to unpack everything with my first kit. Your in good hands and I as the rest of us know you will be taken care of.

Enough with the off topic banter.

I am asking if you do not have anything specific to this build please do not post.

Thank you!

To get back on topic, bullitt do you know which car they are testing the manifold on first: supercharged Z or stock Z?

Mike@GTM 02-21-2011 01:15 PM

In regards to the shipping issue described in the this thread, we are very accessible and take care of our customers. As soon as we received the call from Joe regarding the issues, we took care of him. In fact, we are sending out replacement parts before we even receive the damaged ones.

Our shipping department is OCD when it comes to packing parts. Everything is bubble wrapped and protected before shipping. Of all the kits we have shipped out, this is the first time something major happened during shipping. Regardless, we are here to take care of our customers and ensure that they get what they pay for and that does NOT mean "hacked up parts". We take a lot of pride in what we do and shipping garbage is not something we do...unless of course, you decide not to recycle the bubble wrap you receive with your kit. ;)

Anyway, back on topic, we'll be testing the manifold on bullitt's project first.

And when do you think this will be happening? Curious to see how well it performs with it being plastic

NewYorkJon34 02-21-2011 01:32 PM

Wasn't the manifold on bullitt's car at sema? Either way, it will def be an improvement over the stock manifold.

It looked really good bro, it will def be an eye catcher when I go to car shows, lol

Bump for lower manifold flow test updates...

bullitt5897 02-22-2011 09:34 AM

The Prototype Production unit was sent back as the bolt holes didnt line up perfectly and there were a few other issues we wanted resolved in the design. We should have a new unit next week *fingers crossed*

Just out of curiosity and to kinda update the thread a bit Bullitt, can you give a quick rundown of everything (Performance/Engine/Drivetrain) -wise that been done/or in the process of for your Z. Just curious of what the grand list is. Perhaps that might allow people to see exactly just how intensive this process is and what all you and Sam are working on to bring this beast to life...
