As Mike said, I have different priorities now. I have decided that since I have been so blessed over the past few years that I will pay it forward. I have taken in a person who is in dire need of help and a hand up. She is now my priority and I will be making certain that her life gets on the right track and that her future is as bright as she wishes for it to be.

You can't go wrong with Failsafe Performance or Z1 Motorsports. OK or GA. About as close as I can get you.

I guess there isn't much up in my area, so how about anywhere in the U.S. If I'm going to spend the money to upgrade to a TT and ship my car to where it needs to go, I want the best shop I can find.

My thoughts exactly. But, again, you can't go wrong with either of the aforementioned shops. GTM is also a great choice. Can't do better than the source. You could also check out AE Performance and SP Engineering, as well.

Is GTM where you had all your work done?

I would agree with Stormcrow, Failsafeperformance has been working on my car for the last four months and I have nothing but great experiences from them. Chris takes his time and likes to make sure things really fit correctly. I would highly recommend them to do your TT kit. I have ridden in his 350Z and I just saw this sweet 350 nismo he just finished. He will be installing my stillen SC kit.

LateralG'z 07-08-2010 09:11 PM

How much are you selling the car for?

nismo245 07-08-2010 09:41 PM

Thanks for the info. Hopefully all works out.

There is another shop in baltimor MD. Hill's garage is the name. First off like storm said you can never go wrong with GTM. I don't know how busy Sam is with the cars he has already scheduled. Hill garage is the shop that is going to be taking care of the last bit of things with my car and to get it running perfectly. Not taking away from any other shop but they come highly recomended from Sam. He was the one to schedule my car going there for me and he had nothing but great things to say about them. I talked to the owners wife of the garage today about everything I want them to do for my car and she is awsome and seems like she knows a ton about cars also. She was asking questions that had me scratching my head lol. Just another option for you to consider if GTM as all booked up.

Do the downpipes w/external wastegates make much of a difference in power when talking about a stage 2 TT kit?

It will not affect the CG of the engine in the least. :) This is why I saw it as a non-factor for my build.

As far as oil temps go...Sam assures me that his oil cooler will suffice. I hope he is right. If not, I have a backup plan...though Sam doesn't like it! *haha*

I know this is a 7 month old thread, just curious asto what kind of power the stage 6 is making and how much it costs -- approximately.

We have several 350Z's and a G35 making over 1000 RWHP and some sick 1/4 mile times, here is a video with a stage 6 turbo kit on the track.

This car is already in the 8 second bracket .

I am just waiting on some good news with the VVEL and then drive a mile to your shop and drop of the car.

NISMOFO 02-03-2011 12:46 PM

I have a random question about this car.

Did it have a front camber kit? Also, what were the front/rear camber settings if available?

stormcrow 02-14-2011 08:24 PM

No camber kit on the front. Fronts were around 2 degrees negative and the rears were 2.2-2.3 negative respectively.

Nitrouz 02-14-2011 08:32 PM

^nice to see you bro. ;)

Hope you're doing well. I followed in your footsteps. ;)
