I think you guys with the 6? mt better get use to getting your ***** kicked by the 7 AT's.
Just wait till my GTM SC is up and running. Stage ? with all the toys.
Z's car car with a VB and a 2900 stall converter + 305 35 18 drag radials set up for the 1/4 mile. = a made in Canada 11.6, 1/4 mile time.
Soon to be a stock GTR's worst night mare.
a quick up date on the N/A run, the braille 15 lb battery arrived yesterday. the target now is 12.52 with 320 RWHP.
Just think what the GTM is going going to run.
Sam we need you to build a fully modified 7 AT.
If you build it I will buy it.

i think it is other way around......... if you put your money down, he will build one for you

plus, there is huge difference between AT vs MT..............

i personally prefer my sports cars with MT.......more control, better response.....

Before I ordered my Z I drove both the Manual and Automatic and I was impressed with the response of the auto trans but I didnt like the manual shift mode though. It felt really forced when I was shifting it and I just seemed awkward shifting with the paddles on the steering wheel.

In my opinion there is no experience that matches a manual trans. When you really have the feel of the clutch down on the manual trans and your just blasting the car there is nothing quite like the feel of that perfect smooth shifting action of going throught the gears as your accellerating.

Anyone can hold down the brake, rev to 2900 (or whatever your convertor's stall is) and let it go.

Sounds like A LOT of fun.
