Would this setup be recomended for a daily driver with an average of 18k per yr? if so what would the MPG be like?

Millage is related to how aggressive you drive you car, so for example if you are the type that like bouncing off the rev limiter all the time you MPG will be effected greatly. On the other hand if you can stay off the boost your gas millage will be the same or better. below is you factory ecu air fuel ratio target map as you can see the 14.7 cell is where the ecu will target that to get you the best MGP so it does not mater whether you have a twin turbo or a super charger kit the ecu does not care , You will still get a good MGP providing you drive the car decent most of the time and also providing your car is tuned correctly. So for a daily driver car you will be just fine .

Try reading the G37 forums as well. I will be the first G37 to have this kit, and i'm in Fort Worth.

Pfht, but that is on a G. :stirthepot:
Once it is in and running, let us all know, I do not mind a nice drive.

I for one will not be getting better gas mileage. With 400whp under my foot, chances are I wont be getting more than 10mpg...on a good day.

The last two videos you are drooling over in the first post...are my car. :)

I will have the car back in Texas in about a month. There is still a few weeks of testing left (on either car). I typically come out to Dallas Cars and Coffee, regular G/Z meets in the DFW area, and I plan to start showing the car in some of the bigger events, so I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity to meet up and meet everyone and get a chance to show off the car.

Consequently, I'm from San Antonio so I make trips down to visit family and friends every now and then.

When do you get your car back?
We have a Dallas meet up this weekend, car show, beer, hockey but another once you get your car would work. :D

And yes, it was the best solution...if you put the sc there.

Steve, looks like you're gonna be making quite a nice amount of power! Congrats and you must post pics and review when you get it!

You shouldn't be driving in 6" of water. In fact, I can't imagine driving in 6" of water, and I live in Oklahoma where we get *significant* amount of water dumped at one time, and with a high-clay soil, it doesn't soak in, it makes rivers and such.

Still, 6" of water is half way to the hub!

Not very uncommon in the area where I live. I know there is a corner I take almost every day where a puddle forms in torrential rain that is EASILY 5+ Inches every time.

This was Miami beach a few months back after a day of rain.

http://www.miamibeach411.com/news/in...ooded-streets/

Obviously that was an extreme case, but it happens here often and sometimes I have no option but to go over it or completely stop traffic.

shumby 03-03-2010 11:15 AM

^^^ well it you would even think about driving your stock car through that you need to stop driving and take the bus.

RCZ 03-03-2010 11:27 AM

Point is that its a concern for me since that happens, to a lesser extent, more often than it should around here. With the way it rains here in the summer you can get caught by surprise and have something deep enough form in a matter of minutes.

Can we stop talking about my personal situation and rain for a sec and get back to GTM's supercharger? I feel like this may not apply to some people and I'm derailing this thread.
