Which one are you talking about? I'm currently using the hks camp II but I can't monitor A/F without the Fcon. KInda thinking about getting that hks knock amp. It cost about 1100 with the dual 02 sensor.

There is a way to get it to display a/f ration on are cars with out the purchase of additional sensors. Also from doing research this one had better reviews. Call Sam at GTM and talk to him for more info he was the one that told me it was a better deal. As he put 600 dollars and your done no additional sensors or anything.

Well for the turbo community boost can be viewed through the boost controller but I want to say thats not true as I think Sam told me that boost can be monitored through it with a optional sensor. Sam would know better since it was a while ago i asked him about it.

Hehehe, too bad! we don't have boost controller. i wanna call Blitz and ask them is there a way to get the boost reading on that system. i really want this system cuz you can just buy that A/F box and there you go! all the data you need is on the same display!

Here you go weiboy. You can purchase the boost sensor that way it will display it on the screen. Also you will not need the a/f box since it can read all perameters on our cars including the G37 and G35. That box is only a option if it wasn't able to read it from the ecu. So all you would need is the actual unit and the boost pressure sensor and you are done and be able to view everything you would want at alot cheaper price then the camp 2. seriously? man, i didn't know it reads the A/F directly from the ECU. i'd always thought you needed that A/F box lol.

i only see optional pressure sensor(oil pressure)and oil temp sensor. where do you see that boost sensor???

Yea you will not need the a/f box dead serious. Also I glanced quickly and seen the pressure sensor and made a assumption sorry about that. I will try to find out if not I will call Sam on monday to ask since I am getting ready to order mine. I will let you know whats up with the whole deal.

cool! i'm tempting to sell my HKS CAMP II over the Blitz lol but if it can't read boost i'm not gonna to. right now all i need is to find a good location to mount my AEM UEGO A/F gauge. you guys know of a good location?

The blitz may look cooler, but it gives less data feed back. Plus it cannot hook as many sensors as the HKS unit allows.

What does the HKS one show that the Blitz doesn't. It also displays up to 6 guages just like the HKS one does so I am not sure on what you mean by data feed back.

Personally for price i think this dominates the HKS. Right off the start id I buy the HKS i need to get the A/F sensors and possibly some others. As for what I want to see the blitz will show it all and it will do it at a cheaper price so thats why I think the Blitz is better.

I just got my HKS Camp 2. If this is worth it, I may sell the Camp and get the Blitz.

The blitz is 600. But that's it no need for addional sensors since it can fully read are ecu. Although I thought there was a boost sensor but I guess I was wrong I can't find it

Well personnally i really don't care to see it. SO I guess I will correct. For what I want the blitz is a better/cheaper deal then the HKS. All I want to see is AFR bank 1 and 2. Boost through my boost controller. A/F correction bank 1 and 2, and fuel pressure. All the other things such as coolant temp, oil temp and pressure, EGT I don't care about. Thingsyou would never really buy a guage to see anyway so i don't see that being a deal breaker now. I personally think that the blitz is a better deal. Yes you can hook more sensors up to the camp 2 but its going to run more money for a bunch of guages you really don't need. If I ever need to get rare info i will just hook my laptop up to my car with my up-rev cable and run a data log.

for sure! I rather be able to monitor my A/F more than anything. I feel you on that! Supercharger don't really need the EGT. how ever if you're TT you should have an EGT gauge. let me know how that unit is. btw, are you connecting this through your audio video input? there's a module that you can buy and it allows you to listen to music and monitor the gauges at the same time. that's what I'm using right now and I recommend anybody that's getting digital gauges should get this too. expensive but worth it imo.

Yes I am putting it through the aux on the stock navigation. Can u link the module I am diffinetly going to get it didn't know of that also with that module do I have to do the bypass for it to display while driving

Getting an A/F reading based on the OEM sensors is not going to give you all the information you want. In most cars, the OEM O2 sensors are narrowband and are only meant to be accurate in a range around 14.7 since that's what the car will target in cruise mode (i.e. not under load). If you want to measure A/F accurately on an FI car, you need a standalone wideband sensor.

FYI

These cars do come with a wideband sensor from the factory.

I am not 100% on what the updated piece is exactly, Sam described it to me once about a month ago. Probably would be best for him or someone else who has talked to him recently explain it.
