ECE matters in any country of the european community - if we can pass it through german TUV I doubt Belgium wouldn't accept it. But wasn't Belgium the "Wild West" for tuning in Europe? :D With the stealth look of the GTM kit they might not even notice the difference (imagine the piping powder coated black!) ;)

Vegitto-kun 03-04-2010 05:42 AM

I think the netherlands is more the tuning country.

We have ******** at the car check places.

I mean they redflag cars for the slightest thing.

but yeah I still would need to find a place that could put it on the car and as we al know you need good guys haha. the kit isn't for one of these days. First I need to be able to controll the damn thing with its stock power haha but yeah I AM interested

It's illegal here as well no matter how many certifications and stickers you put on it

You just have to know the right people and not attract unwanted attention on the roads

Why is it illegal?

My car is dropped as well. Not sure how much yours is compared to mine without seeing pictures...but I'll just tell you I was pretty worried about my car and it took some manuevering to get it on the truck but everything worked out great and we didn't have any problems. I was very pleased with how the whole experience went. Trust me...those drivers are in no big hurry to get your car on their truck and break something...they are liable...and not interested in shelling out tons of cash to fix your car for a few hundred dollars.

Was a good experience and I have no problems doing it again...and I baby the hell out of my car.

Hopefully that may ease some of your concerns...if it doesn't...I certainly understand.

Because it falls under "major modifications done to your engine"

Let's just saw they didn't choose the smartest kid in class to come up with the laws here lol

it will probably be the same thing here

kdoske 03-04-2010 10:06 AM

Sorry to hear about your obscure laws not allowing 'major engine modifications'. That really sucks. It's not the end of the world I suppose, it could always be worse.
