Update so reached out to specialty Z and spoke to Edgar.
Turns out it was user error I had it connected to what I thought was pin 102 from looking and the diagrams and YouTube videos but it was wrong. After connecting it to the right pin everything works perfectly
Attached is the wrong pin (black) and the correct one (grey)

Hard to see it but tried my best on the pics
