You can make good power on a standard belt, problem is a week or two later you'll end up down on power because it stretched and is now slipping, which constant retensioning is a pretty big inconvenience. My experience with the RPM belts over the last couple years is they will stretch once in the first hundred or so "break-in" miles, then it'll be fine for the remainder of the belts life. Guess it's time to look for other solutions if I can no longer get my hands on an RPM belt.
