Upgraded Transmission Interest.
 

I have someone that is interested in making some upgraded trans for the 370z. How many people would be interested in billet input shaft and 3rd gear upgrades along with Syncro's? I am not sure how far this will go but if we can get 15 people interested we may be able to make this happen.

I am trying to keep it reasonable where most can afford it.

I don't need to know an exact price but a guesstimate would be nice. Are we talking $500 or $1500 or $5000? I am definitely interesting in spending money.

I do not know yet. The more people we have the cheaper it will be. I hoping around $1000 or less for the billet input shaft. We shall see. Then you need to get it installed.

I'm in for the input shaft. You know how I roll ;)

Probably for the syncros too.

Yeap, I don't want to get too crazy with it or it will be way up in the money. I am asking for different levels if they can do it. That way most folks can afford it.

Look in their Instagram story, They posted another guy who broke his. Go figure, who would have thunk it. That makes 3 input shafts broke at that track. That may have been someone sharing SOHO's and the SOHO sharing it back. Who knows.

Plus one eye, both balls, part of the liver, and what ever else we can find.

I have only one working eye, no one would want any part of my liver, and definitely haven’t given up use for the balls yet. I hope this actually does come into a reasonable price range, but my bigger concern would be the window of availability closing before I’m ready to sell a ball, or whatever else it would take.

Just saw a post on Instagram, SOHO is working with Dodson.

Sonnax product development sent me an email today. They are wanting to look at some pictures of broken shafts. Side view and a pictures of the end of it. If you have some, post them up.

Mr. Squeeze, I hope you still have yours so you can get me a picture of the end of it.

I sent off the first car's pic's. Waiting on Pic's from Mr. Squeeze. These are two different cars than SOHO.

I sent off 4 sets of pictures from 4 different cars. Only one shows signs of twisting the input shaft before it broke.

Well, this is moving forward quickly. I am surprised. If anyone has the Nissan part number to the input shaft, let me know. This needs to be for a Sport or Nismo with rev matching. If not, I will call my parts guy tomorrow where I once worked. He knows me well.

That looks right. I will double check this tomorrow with my Parts guy just to be sure. By looking at the
description this is good for the 350z and 370z.

By the way, I got some plans for new stronger upgraded gear sets. Let's see if I can get the input shaft moving along first. Eat my dust and watch me work.
