Default MAC Boost solenoid

Does anyone have a good diagram on wiring and hose routing for the MAC on a single turbo system?

I believe the two wires go to the Evaporator solenoid. But, I'm not 100% on where that is...the one hooked to the back of the intake with the line going to the rear of the car?

I have found a few different diagrams online but I am not 100% on the hose hook up as well?

Any help would be appreciated!

Yup thats exactly it and specialtyz makes a harness for 9 bucks, you just splice it to your mac solenoid wire orientation doesn't matter, DO YOU HAVE SINGLE OR DUAL WASTEGATES?

I would do them like this except with your bp kit you would go off the charge pipe nipple instead of the turbo, I have my single routed the same way but with one wastegate

here is another way but i would do the first one but you could always ask your tuner what way he would prefer

I do have the BP kit. I figured I should ask my tuner what he perfered. SO I asked Moncef at admin Tuning which way I should hook up the hoses. He referred me back to Sasa. FIgured asking here would be my best bet!

So, would I split “B” to both wastegates? And leave the “A” open to atmosphere? Or block “A”?

That is an unusual configuration on your solenoid. Usually there is pressure in port (from a charge pipe or turbo compressor housing) and then a port out, which in this case would split, and go to both wastegates tops.

Is there a diagram or model number on that solenoid? If so, post it up, and we'll get it figured out.

Is it this?
Just T your top ports together and T your bottom ports since you have dual wastegates

Pretty good description here on how it functions
https://www.full-race.com/store/borg...ol-solenoid-1/

If your tuner does not know how to plumb it I'd be weary on tuning the duty cycle on it. Seems like it more sensitive to changes compared to the 3 port.

I wouldn't bother teeing the boost reference source.

I drilled the spot welds on the evap solenoid bracket to remove the evap solenoid itself and added holes for the new MAC 3 port I am using. I did this since it would put the MAC solenoid conveniently next to the 8mm port that the evap system was using.

This does interfere with the engine cover if you plan on reusing that

I am pretty sure you want your source to be on the charged side of the throttle bodies? I will not have to "T" the source hose if I hook it as shown in the diagram. I will have to "T" the lines going to the waste gates.

That source is on the intake manifold so it will see vacuum and boost. I am using the other port behind the drivers side throttle body to feed the boost gauge and fuel pressure regulator.
