look at dude's 3D printed intake plenum. he stalled out on that project and i dont see the villagers chasing him :bowrofl:

I have a turbo kit and it’s proven. Dudes manifold didn’t promise it to be shown at z days and not show up first year, didn’t make claims of it making power, didn’t make claims of it being better then any other few manifolds on the market, didn’t make claims or flow test studies, didn’t make claims how much power it made on his or other’s cars. You can’t compare that thread with this. Mike problem has a faq ton of money invested in the company.

:iagree:
I've seen the car at ZDayZ. Watch Bullet beat on it. It runs. It sounds good. But it's the only one that I know that runs.

Here is Christian running the crap out of his over the weekend at a track day... while some people believe this is smoke and mirrors others are out enjoying their cars... let’s all let this thread stick to its original intent to allow me and others to share their whipple builds, setups and experiences.

jwick 05-01-2019 10:02 AM

That would be great but other than you, which obviously have a vested interest, we haven’t seen any customers share their experiences.

i'll go 50/50 since this forum really is fuckin dead lol.

think about it......no one is approving users anymore or it's barely happening also when it does it's long stretches between.

customers may be stuck in forum purgatory. i'll go with yes i dont see any but could be a reason more than just hiding?

bullitt5897 05-01-2019 10:49 AM

Some of them aren’t social media or forum members. I also receive pictures and information from owners because they know I run this thread or because I ask them for info... I share info here because some of you aren’t Facebook users... so when stuff is posted there I bring it here... honestly I do this for people to make an informed decision... not because I want one outcome or the other. Yes I would like to see the kit succeed because I designed it. But I am also not actively on here selling kits. I simply answer questions and post updates that is all.

Sorry for not posting. The carbon Z as some of you may know has an amuse titanium exhaust. While it is great for N/A applications it is not suited for FI work. The design and flow characteristics arent that great but it is *BLING*...

When the car was on the dyno Bobby noticed the underside of the car was really glowing. After a quick inspection he asked to pull the car off the dyno. They inspected the exhaust and noticed that the Y-pipe was constricting the flow of the exhaust and getting way too hot *enough to show fatigue around the welds*. Rich the owner is picking out a different exhaust for the Carbon Z and this exhaust is going on his wife's Z. Regardless, the Carbon Z is going back on the dyno most likely next week with a less restrictive exhaust and something that can withstand the heat and not crack the welds...

Elmo370z 05-02-2019 11:01 AM

How does visual inspection tell you that the Y pipe is to restrictive, because it’s glowing? Seems like there is a underlying issue somewhere that’s need to be sorted out.
