Well, looking at getting a junkyard motor to build and mothballing the one that is in the car now. This will speed up the downtime verses building my motor. I can take the car after the new motor is built and they will have everything ready and will not have to stop for waiting on parts or machine work.

Well, I have decided to change my clutch setup. I am going with an ATS Carbon clutch. The question is do I get a twin with heavier pressure plate or a triple with a more stock pressure feel. Yeap, this will be my splurge. I don't need it, but I want it.

Spare engine on the way. I will build this one and mothball my current engine to speed up the downtime.

It's more like, "Daelen has to go pick it up". LOL

Nevermind, I found the info on FI's site. Looks like my current clutch setup will not hold the planned HP/Tq. I have to upgrade.

•Option #1: MAX STREET - up to 600 RWH: Recommended for the daily driver.
•Option #2: MAX 6-PUCK - up to 675RWH: Recommended for the daily driver with light track use.
•Option #3: HIGH 5 - up to 725 RWH: Recommended for the driver with heavy track use.

Looks like ATS carbon twin setup will be going in for sure. Ouch!!!! Better now than doing it again. I wanted it anyway. LOL
I just had to justify the cost.

This is getting expensive. I got skills though. I can spend money like a MOFO.

I wouldn't put the new clutch yet. I would wait until you put the new engine in. Why do it twice.

It's going in at the same time as the new engine and TT kit. Current clutch is still in the box.

Ok, makes sense now.

ATS Twin Carbon is ordered.

It looks like dynosty has the 370z hp record at 1023hp and the half mile record at 164.17mph. Crap, thought the half mile I might have a chance.
