It would be tight but it may be possible. I wanted mine in a location where I could easily get to it if I needed to without having to remove the test pipe, should the situation arise. However, I'd be concerned with putting the bung there as it could possibly interfere with access to the header/test pipe bolts. Just something to be wary of.
