Default Supercharger Questions..

I'm looking into a Supercharger Kit for my 370 and from the looks of it, Stillen is the only company that produces one for the Z34's? If so, which exact Stillen Kit would anyone recommend because I see multiple different ones on Concept Z. Also would like to know if I can still use test pipes instead of getting downpipes like a turbocharged setup would be.. let me know!

Look on here in the Forced Induction area. TopgunZ and SOHO have them. Research in their for days. The Stock Stillen kit is not that good.

What Spooler said. Stay away from the stock w2a Stillen kit. Yes, you can keep your test pipes.

Okay so, I guess Superchargers dont require a downpipe, interesting. I'll look into a few other brands see what I can find. Thanks!!

He was joking. Don't buy the RJM whipple. Not a good experience. Bad reviews coming out.

Most of what you need to know has been discussed ad nauseam on the forum - spend a few days poking around the FI forum and you will learn a lot (and I mean no offense, but it sounds like you have a lot of learning ahead of you).

The stillen kit is a bad design and makes very little power for the investment/risk.. it should only be an option if you need CARB certification. The most popular FI options discussed on this forum at the moment are the TopGunz A2A SC kit, and the Boosted Performance single turbo kit. Either of those combined with an experienced tuner will get you great results with much less risk. There are some other great options out there(FI TT kit, etc), but those are the bang/buck options that seem most popular around here.

But first.....go to the FI forum and spend several days browsing, reading, and bumping old threads with your questions.

It's their maf location and their shitty canned tune. The most popular kit on here is the Topgunz kit although there are a couple kits out that copied the Topgunz kit. Those kits use a vortech supercharger like the Stillen kit but the Si version which uses an upgraded impeller. They also are a2a instead of w2a. The kits are what Stillen should have developed in the first place and are less expensive.

As others have mentioned, there is a lot of reading to be done in the FI section.
