Default PCV question on AAM twin turbo kit

This is probably a simple question for most. I'm wrapping up my AAM twin turbo install and am setting up the pcv system.

It comes with two check valves, and lines. The lines come from the intake pipe to the valve cover. Which way should the air be flowing? Should the flow be from the intake pipe to the valve cover or from the valve cover to the intake pipe? Help on this is greatly appreciated!

Intake pipe creates vacuum and valve cover vent "vents".

right now the check valves are set up so that the air flow would be from the valve cover to the intake pipe.

The issue is that there is a huge vacuum so that when I remove the oil cap right after turning the car off it sucks in a lot of air. I know pressure is bad but what about vacuum?

So you are getting vacuum from the oil fill spout right after you turn the car off?

Real nice setup, looks good!
I'm thinking about doing away with my check valves also!

Default AAM Twin Turbo PCV

I know this thread has been dead for some time but I am dealing with this issue right now. I am unsure on which direction the check valves between the intakes and the valve covers should be flowing. From everything I read I would think it would go from the intake to the valve cover but when I hook it up like this and delete the PCV valves and put a catch can inline I get smoke. I haven't tried putting the catch can in place of the intake check valves and I am wondering if that worked out for others?
