Lets see here... The ECU will get a custom tune that will keep the car SAFE and reliable, but will re-tuning the ECU cost extra when you want to add more boost later on down the road? Probably so, right?

Unfortunately, I think that may pose to be a problem because MOST people can't datalog and send you the ECU's file to rewrite for a tune that better matches the increase in PSI. Not to mention, they will not be able to download or upload the file into their ECU anyway. :ughdance: To me, what that means is that they will have to go back to your shop, have you do your thing, then go home with the changes. Unfortunately, that is not a good option for people that are many miles away from D.C.

Also, what about a wideband? Being a turbo veteran, I know that this is a MUST if you want to really be able to monitor anything fuel related. Plus something that can monitor knock, etc. would be great.

Other than that, your parts do look great and I am sure your work is top notch. Aside from the flaws that I mentioned, maybe you guys can work on making a tool that will allow us to make changes to the ECU's tuning table? Just look at SCT or Diablosport and see what they've done for many happy customers!

Ummm... that's what they make boost controllers for.

Kit looks nice Clint. How much is the kit minus install and tune?

Does a 3" exhaust (vs. 2.5) really explain the big difference here? Extra pound, yet making 18 fewer horses. The mt should also have slightly less drivetrain loss.

The MT is also on a stock exhaust... w/ turbos... an exhaust makes the hugest difference... stock ones are restrictive carb legal pieces of poo

is this turbo kit ready yet? why doesnt the site work?

jmlenz 06-23-2009 01:15 AM

has this kit been installed/tuned on a 370 yet?

Weird how 370s have been on the road for about 7-8 months (G37 even longer) and still we have yet to see a 370TT roll the streets. Seems like when the 350Z came out there were a slew of kits within a couple months...hmm...the wait is killing me!

k20z3 06-23-2009 01:40 AM
