Default MAP Sensors Issues

Hey everybody, I've been taunted by this map sensor code for a while now. Cleaned the throttle bodies, replaced the sensor itself, found an exhaust hose that slipped on and off under the hood, clamped that down. Drove for a week or so without the code and then the SES light comes on and I go into my tuner only to find p0106 once again. Since swapping the sensor I did notice a smoother idle and slightly quicker throttle response but still rougher than most. I looked threw a few threads to see if anyone was having the same problem and found one but they were only told to take it to a professional. It was paired with the an oxygen sensor code when it originally started popping up, p2a03. That hasn't popped back up since I installed the new sensor. Any ideas on what the root issue could be ?! Vacuum leak somewhere? Cracked head? Intake manifold leak? It's driving me nuts !

Check wiring to MAP (voltage should be around 1-1.5V at idle and 4.5V at WOT).
Check for leaks in EGR system.
Check TPS and RPM (if these do not change when MAP changes, an error can be thrown).
Have ECM tested.

Looks like my MAP sensor hasn't been programmed to read boost. Only vacuum and up to 0psi. Aka I need a tune lol. Probably going with the EcuTek sometime over the summer.

Glad to hear you figured it out and thanks for letting us know. I would be interested in hearing how the tune works out.
