Default Stillen Supercharger post-install issues

Hello everyone.

After installing the Stillen Supercharger kit and using Stillen's tune, the car began exhibiting the following:

Black smoke coming out of the tailpipes (burning rich)
Long cranks/turnovers
Occasionally long cranks/turnovers end up being startup failure
Periodic stalling when the car comes to a stop

If you have experienced the same issues as myself, please post here. Also, if you know how to solve these issues, please post that as well.

Thanks everyone.

I am sure Stillen's OTS tune is rich but it shouldn't be that rich. Are you sure you don't have a small leak somewhere on the intake side?

My car did the same for a few and just kept driving it
The computer eventually caught up and is ok , I'll get it every once in a while but I'll apply a little gas input on pedal and will fire right up

The time really is where I'd like it yet but one say I'll have to get a custom tune with Sebastian

Go get the car tuned by a good tuner, you will get more power and it will run better. On the stalling, did you install the deflector in front of the air filter?

My car blew giant black smoke rings on the dyno because it was so rich on the stillen tune. It also only made 370ish whp, after tuning it 418whp.

OP u need to get with Stillen as its ur Tune.....my first initial tune was super rich....at 3k rpm at 1/4 throttle it was sputtering out my plugs read around the 9 ' s on AFR when I gave it a little gas. ...call them directly and let them know what's going on. ...if u can get it custom tuned by a good tuner then I would recommend doing that. ...but u will end up voiding ur warranty.

That's about the same power I made on my Stillen Can Tune.....what Octane Rating are u using JWillis.....91 or 93? 418 WHP imo is respectable for streetability

93, my whp is good but that because I'm at 10 ft above sea level.
