I have the z1 25 row oil cooler .. but I'm also boosted .. it's location is on the driver side under the headlight .. if it was in the front it would cool even more .... fuel regulator is for the return fuel system upgrade

200-220 isn't a bad temp ... and I wouldn't block the intercooler to run the oil temp in the 180 range but that's just my opinion on it... and really any way you go .. would it be noticed ?

You just got a 4 T joint instead of the 3 T that comes with the sc kit? Tied it in there?

I had my oil cooler before in the same location as you with a spal fan cruising my temps will usually be at 220 but if I hit it they would rise to like 240 oil cooler just doesn't get enough air to the right side and 180 range is perfect cause it's operating temps but that's also only at night during a hot day it will be around 190

Mine holds at 220 in the hottest days ...even when running aggressively ...I also have my fans tuned to come on sooner so that may be the difference

I still use stock synthetic oil since dealer gave me free oil changes ...the 5/40 might be too thick in colder temps in Florida it prolly wouldn't hurt ...

Hey jinxx did you cut your fuel sending unit base?as per to fit a bigger then 255 walbro fuel pump.

Jinxx 04-07-2017 10:51 PM

Yea I had to cut the base for the 255 pump to fit in and the section that holds the sending unit I used a dremmel to trim it out for the larger sending unit

Jinxx 05-03-2017 09:03 PM

Hey tiller how's the upgrades coming ever made it to a Dyno yet ? ... I'm been toying with the idea of water/meth injection for mine but worried about chance of it failing ... my boosted performance kit should be ready in a few weeks for my 2017 hoping it does cut my white cars a** too bad lol
