I would like to say me and Mike r pretty cool. I've ask him him some questions about his setup and he didn't mind giving me answers and helping out.

Thanks Bro if i can get close to that I will have the baddest 3.7L ever...hahaha...but for real I mite up grade to twin 67mm turbos and lay it down ...hahaha but that will be after I get my custom billet crank made. right I'm going to focus on ur dyno record..lol.. and running in the 9's in the 1/4. If I can at least come close to ur dyno numbers I feel pretty good for my little 3.7...we still on for tx2k?

I am hoping so but I have a little one on the way so depending on schedule. I am hoping to have my new setup finished by the new year...

BBRSpeedWorks 10-23-2015 09:01 AM

Congrats mike...and to easy....ur 3 hrs away from me so I'm sure I'll get to meet up with u before then

BBRSpeedWorks 10-24-2015 10:32 AM

Got the supertech dual springs installed last night.
They are definitely a huge upgrade. Plus they look beautiful in there....lol

Browning tuning in georgia. He does all the tuning for my shop. He also is a good friend which is a plus becuase he is going to be on the this for a day or so and also going to the track to dial it in.

E85. Every time we cruise all I smell is corn. Look forward to seeing the car come together!

Hotrodz 10-24-2015 08:38 PM

I love corn...

Ya but corn runs out down here..

Hotrodz 10-25-2015 12:17 PM

I hear you, the closest e85 to me is 110 miles, but I have it shipped to me :D I'm lucky to have that option.

why does it run out(other then it being all used up lol)? i'm surprised that more cars aren't on e85. i only know of 1 bp station that has it that's 15 miles from me.

BBRSpeedWorks 10-26-2015 08:53 AM

Everything is on e85 around here..lol

njobe89 10-26-2015 08:55 AM

i'm surprised that QT or racetrac doesn't carry e85

Masterbeatty 10-26-2015 09:07 AM

My base has an E85 pump on it and no one uses it.

BBRSpeedWorks 10-26-2015 09:11 AM

Dam i wish ft. Stewart would carry it...

elperuano 10-26-2015 12:34 PM

Does your tuner also tune with Uprev Osiris?

BBRSpeedWorks 10-26-2015 12:41 PM

Yes he does. My car is the 1st 370z he has done with ecutek.

Hotrodz 10-26-2015 03:18 PM

Have you considered flex fueling, now that it is available. You can have your cake and eat it too. That is what put me over the edge with ecutek.

vividracing 10-26-2015 03:19 PM

Thankfully in AZ we have E85 stations fairly frequently throught town. Wish it was like that for you guys. Can't wait to see the build!

That off of Dean Forest drive at the Pilot station?

BBRSpeedWorks 10-26-2015 06:33 PM

Na the one off of 204 and 95

BBRSpeedWorks 10-26-2015 06:39 PM

Well the DDS came in today after 2 1/2 months. There pretty stout. I swear u can do curls with these things. But now if I can find an auto rear end I'll be happy and having a chance of hitting 200mph. Got the turbo's mounted up today but didn't get a pic of them be4 I left the shop...starting to work on charge piping and getting the jig together for the manifolds...

BBRSpeedWorks 10-27-2015 02:27 PM

I'm almost out of argon but I got the passenger side turbo mounted. There's soooooo much space...lol. but for real there's about 2 1/2 in of clearance.

how are you bracing the turbo so the weight isn't on the manifold?

I will make a bracket from the transmission to the compressor housing. The turbo are really like compared to my 6266 t4 I had on the car be4...I think both of them are close to the same weight as the pte 6266...

Those look nice and strong. I hope I don't have to upgrade to those like you and my buddy Tony. They are costly however you get BIG power points for having to need them.

Both turbos are mounted. I'm very happy with how everything fit. The left side has to be a tad lower due to the clutch line but I might make some adjustments tomorrow. But over all I'm very happy how the 6262's fit in there location. Just have to finsh up some welding and then ceramic coat them and there done....

I don't know ur power goals but I believe the stock axles will hold very for awhile but I had the money and wanted to get them since I had the cash. They cost a ton tho...

Tony has broken two and he's around 640wtq

jwick 10-28-2015 09:26 AM

BBR curious to see how you are planning to handle filter routing to the turbo and your charge piping. Are you keeping the driver side turbo clocked that way requiring the charge piping to run under the tranny?

bullitt5897 10-28-2015 11:56 AM

tony was also on slicks....

bullitt5897 10-28-2015 12:00 PM

you guys got to remember that you can do boost by gear... I am only pushing 15psi in first gear and second gear. After that its full boost and 800ftlbs of tq...

No he wasn't. He broke one on the street. I'm referring to TonyHTX, not the Tony from FI.

I have the filter routing already planned. As far as charge piping I have 2 different routes I can use.
1 way is a pain I the *** to get on the left turbo.
The other way is going under the tranny which I wouldn't mind but really don't want to do...

Look forward to seeing the results. I've been all over this engine bay installing/moding/upkeeping my kit so I know the limitations well:rofl2:
