Check out GTM V3 kit announcement on FB. The Boogeyman man is for
Real. He is offering the GT-R manifolds with the V3 kit as an option.

Just an update for anyone who might be following my situation. I exchanged a couple of emails with Sam about my deposit on the group buy, and he went ahead and called me last night. He said that I am still part of the group buy, and that my deposit (layaway plan) is still good, and that I only owe the balance remaining for the group buy price.

He was hesitant to give a date when the first batch will be ready (understandable for pretty much everyone now I would assume), but I asked him to take a "wild guess" and he said about 2 weeks would be the soonest. I told him I would rather wait for the first batch to start shipping out so I can hear some feedback from the first round of customers, and that I also wanted to review the completed installation instructions. He was OK with that.

If the 2 week estimate turns out to be accurate, and everything looks copacetic I'd probably look to complete my order in a couple of months.

Between all that and DE's offer to pick up and ship, I'd feel comfortable sending them more money. That's a lot of "if's" and "when's"... but it does appear that my odds of getting a kit are higher now than they were a week ago, though how much I couldn't speculate.

^Sorry to say it, but you're better off sending me the money...
Or sending the money to GTM, if, and only if I'm standing in front of your kit.

That is exactly what I plan to do - wire it over while you stand there with your hand on the kit.

As much problem GTM has been no vendor can Touch their Products. I am not saying that they have not mislead out members but we also aren't aware of who GTM has reimbursed monetarily.

In the End this is SAM and Co. Final opportunity to make things right for their own sake.

Have you seen some of the cars FI have delivered?

FI has ways to go to catch up to GTM. Mine you I am a Fast Intentions fan and a customer but they have ways to go when it comes to product line.

GTM negative reputation , bad customer service and broken promises lead to them to there own down fall. But let us see what they do from here on out.

warpeacelove 08-02-2015 09:28 PM

The New GTM is under new management. Mean while the current management is very key on delivering the product on time and having the units in stock. If no units aren't in stock then no order can be placed unless you're purchasing an AWD Kit which is a custom kit.

New management doesn't require pay up front like the OLD GTM.

I just order an AWD Turbo Kit and All I had to put down was a deposit. When the kit is ready I will pay of the rest.

After all has been said. I totally understand why you'll are keeping away from GTM. I am not here to influence your decisions or sway you.

No company is perfect especially in this type of business. You all are grown enough though to know how to handle your business.

Is it me or does anyone else find it odd that people post about the V3 kit being almost done and Sam leaves one or two comments? If GTM was serious about this they would post a huge apology to the community and refund people's money. This whole thing still seems shady and wrong. I guess there is a new sucker born everyday.

Pretty sure 2 weeks was the generic response for over a year lol

not everyone lives on the forums, and therfore - i'm sure they are reconciling their business debts without tweeting about every shipment going out. however, people awaiting shipments i'm sure have been contacted.

no1 from GTM made this post on the forums, it was a member.. they have a larger client base than an internet forum - just like an other business

edit;so this kit releases in 2025 right?
