Default Considering on getting rid of my BP kit / looking for a shop.

I am considering on getting rid of my boosted performance kit because of the oil leaks I get every year. It gets irritating because every year I get to have a little fun with it, then an oil line would bust and leak oil. I then would not be able to drive the car as much as I would like and it is sitting there till I get it fixed.

As of right now, I have an oil leak somewhere and I am not sure where. It is very possible that the leak is coming from another oil line like it did the last two times. I had the car fixed each year because the oil leak. The mechanic I took it to basically said the oil lines I had, had cheap connections. Last year I had jsut about all the oil lines replaced with the highest quality lines the shop can get and install for me.

I just don't have as much time anymore to fix it on my own and am looking for a shop that will do some work on my car that is close to Chicago. Anyone know any that isn't hours away from Chicago?

PLease do not misunderstand me and assume the turbo kit is of poor quality. Sasha did a great job on the kit except the oil lines he gave me. If I remember correctly, he did end up providing better oil lines later on after I bought my kit. So those who do want to purchase his kit can rest assure that you will probably not have the same problems I do.

What do you guys recommend that I do? These are my options...

1. Get rid of the kit and stay N/A.
2. Get rid of the kit and sell the car.
3. Fix the oil leak and hope it doesn't leak again next year.
4. Get rid of the kit and buy a new turbo kit. Maybe from Fast Intentions?

And again, does anyone know any good shops in or around Chicago that is not hours away from Chicago?

Do you have the first version of the kit, where the oil filter needed to be relocated?

If so, things have been simplified a lot since then with the V 2.0. Two oil cooler lines, and two oil return lines.

Yes, I have the first version. Three total oil leaks now.

I replaced all my lines and fittings last year. Things have been good since *knock on wood*. I would suggest changing the remaining fittings, or upgrade to the BP V2.0 kit.
