Do you know if we can remove the gauge cluster and start the car and drive it ? I would like to remove it to add an AIM dash logger

Do you know if we can remove the gauge cluster and start the car and drive it ?
I would like to remove it to add an AIM dash logger but I know on some cars you have to keep the gauge cluster. |
