Is that an Air/Fuel gauge (with 7.4) ?

The Innovate defaults to 7.4 on start up, there's a lose connection, or the sensor is not plugged in. Mine reads 7.4 for a minute or so in the mornings when I first turn the car on.

how come you went with an AFR gauge? going FI? btw, we have factory wideband sensors iirc if you tap into ODB

The factory wideband sensors are not as quick or accurate as aftermarket. If you want to just hook up an OBD on an N/A car then there's really no harm. If going FI, you don't use them.

Yessir. The sensor was not in at the time. The gauge flashes at 7.4 while it warms the sensor up and then it will begin to read once it is ready! :driving:

well guys updated the thread… will add more pictures of everything soon

Gregor12 11-10-2014 09:20 PM

Added switches today along with the new JVC radio
switch 1 - 12v switch for gauges
switch 2 - dvd by pass for in dash
switch 3 - remote wire for sub amp
These switches will be used for more important stuff in the future lol

What kind of radio is it? You could have just grounded the parking brake wire or a relay instead of a switch

Lol you know I thought the same thing. However the jvc picks up that it's the common ground. I had my kenwood connected to the common ground previously but this radio wouldn't do that

There appears to be a metal support bracket for the gauges and dash that goes back
to the firewall. Did you reuse this?
