my only problem with the evor diffuser was the fact it touches the exhaust tips of my greddy ONLY on the right side... its kinda weird....

kenchan 06-01-2010 04:47 PM

simota- do you have pict of the same area majestik posted?

NewYorkJon34 06-01-2010 04:50 PM

Seeing that pic makes me wanna :barf: Seriously tho, we all know the fitment issues on the diffuser, if anybody is interested in a CF diffuser then I'd just wait to see what RCZ's friends over at ICarbon come up with. It might just be worth the wait, :happydance:

I don't mean to be negative, but I'm with you :iagree:
That fit is just too off for the price as far as I'm concerned.

kielbasa16 06-01-2010 05:47 PM

Might be a silly question but is a rear diffuser good for anything other than looks? I've seen them on other performance cars before and just can't wrap my head around why otherwise beautifully styled cars add this modification. Not meant to be offensive but maybe I'm missing something. Otherwise to each their own.

My my my...that sure looks familar. Taking my Z to the body shop to get mine fixed. I can't take the gaps on both sides any longer. *insert ripping hair out emote here*

370Zsteve 06-01-2010 06:47 PM

Give me one of these without the goddamned "fog light" POS or :gtfo2:

370Z JT 06-01-2010 09:03 PM

Up to you in the end whether you purchase.

In the end - irrelevant of fitment issues - I'm quite happy with the look of it. The gap is only noticed by fellow 370Z owners.

:iagree: This is very true......it only gets noticed when I mention it.....so I've just simply stopped mentioning it.

FuszNissan 06-07-2010 04:43 AM

Tony, did you ever get a replacement diffuser?

No, I have the original one I purchased actually from another member on here.....he purchased it but never installed it (didn't even remove it from the box) due to selling his Z. Can I get a new one? :stirthepot:

I just ordered one on a group buy with friends for around $450 shipped, but an individual can get it for $475 shipped. Use the website referred to previously if you are interested.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a loyal EVO-R customer and have purchased both front CF items from them! Sorry to hear some of you are having fitment issues, have you contacted Jay with your concerns? If so, how has he responded?

370Z JT 06-08-2010 05:51 PM

^ When did you order? I ordered mine on this past thursday. RHD says order is being processed. Did they tell you any lead time when they going to ship?

I was told up to 15 days...I guess patience is a virtue.

370Z JT 06-09-2010 05:04 PM

Got an email back from rhd. They said 2 to 3 weeks.

I'm picking up The Smurf later this afternoon....the body shop said they shaved (and this is how they put it so not my words) a few ounces off the valence. Not quite sure what that means but they did say they were able to make it fit much better. We shall see this afternoon.....I'll get some pictures up, too.

kenchan 06-18-2010 09:43 AM

that's good to hear, but wish they were made correctly to begin with...

:iagree: If it hadn't been for another problem (passenger side bumper popped outta the clips...don't ask me how) I wouldn't have taken the car in. But I figured since they already had it, why not see what they can do for the rear valence.

Can't say I blame you, the EVO should be right from the factory. The fujimura appears to be a better fit from the get go

If that's from EvoR, I had the exact same issues.

He's good for the order though so you still will receive it..

Maybe it's a language issue?

370Zsteve 07-01-2010 10:00 AM

Give me a rear valance without the goddamned pimple-assed whore of a stupid rat-bomb foglight!

Thanks for listening.

EVO-r,
Communication seems to be a problem with you guys. I have sent two e-mails and left two voice mails. You can post on the forum, but you cannot respond to my e-mails or voice mails...what gives here? I would like to order the CF part for the upper front bumper...but I am not so sure now...I am worried about EVO-r response and follow-up.

Interested in purchasing a flat black one within next few weeks -- are they in or out of stock?
