I think I posted up some pics of my rear diffuser fitment on this thread somewhere..

From what I have noticed, the fitment issues are mainly with the carbon fibre ones..

shabarivas 09-20-2010 05:40 PM

Its been what? like a year since you dudes started doing this stuff... still no rear diffuser w/ no a$$-hole - you guys are slacking - I assure you you will sell that **** hella fast... too bad.

kenchan 09-20-2010 06:40 PM

Man, you guys have no searching talent. ;)

Found him. Daveyjones. This is what I mean about the peeking paint...

i doubt you can go rice with carbon

AllForTheCash 09-28-2010 06:38 PM

Well I'm interested in buying one of these. But Trying to read 25 pages of posts didn't work out for me to well...

Lets see, In summary. The old version didn't fit well in the carbon fiber model and it showed paint around the rear fog light?

So I should purchase the new version in carbon fiber which fits better?

:pics: :tiphat:

That looks great! I'm just not a fan of the carbon fiber look, so I did the matte black to match my wheels.

Westwood 09-30-2010 05:10 AM

looks good Majestik

chippy 09-30-2010 12:36 PM

Just installed mine tonight, but it's a little dark in my garage to get good pictures. I'll take some tomorrow. Fitment seems to be a bit off on the driver side, but its doable.

chippy 10-01-2010 01:37 AM

I like the look on the quartz alot. Think I might be giving Mr Fujimura a shout!

Have you guys done the fang cover too?

I really like the FRP matte black version a lot, the car looks great intrigue! This is the next thing on my list of things to do.

toxik 10-07-2010 11:16 AM

98intrigue, did you just use tape or the nuts and bolts supplied as well?

I actually bought 3/4" 3M tape and used that, as well as the 3 self tapping screws. The fitment on it is good, minus the driver side. There's a slight gap, but its hard to notice...Especially with my color.

I bought the VHB tape and plan to use that plus one of the bolts that goes under the fog light. Hopefully I'll get to install it this weekend and will post results here.

That should be fine. I wanted to use te screw for the sides as well due to the gap on the driver's side.

I also got FRP, and I hope the additional weight over CF won't be an issue with the tape. Then again I'm not sure what the weight difference is anyways. But thanks for the input.
