Well, thankfully, most of the pink coloring has faded as I left the car in the blazing sun for 8 days. But there is still a dark purpleish/pinkish shadow that remains in the spots that were pink. You can't see the shadow from every angle, but mostly when you are looking down the side of the car, or off to the side of the trunk. I am hopeful that in time it will completely fade as I plan on leaving it outside inside of parking inside my garage each day. Thanks for the good suggestions, but I really want to not do anything until I have no other choice. I guess I am hoping mother nature and her sunshine evens out the coloration. Many thanks. trackster22
