nope. there should be 2 black plastic pieces, one per side which help channel air directly to the radiator that connect to the radiator shroud and then go over the

they look like the black pieces in this pic, but the nismo ones go over the foam absorber and keep it in place  found a pic of the nismo version. see the black plastic piece that goes over the foam bar?:
