There is nothing in the Owners Manual.

My car: 2014 370Z with Sport package NON TOURING model.

I'm interested in this also. I read a couple of other threads about this, but I haven't seen anyone clarify this point: Once the dealer makes the adjustment in factory settings for you, does the car retain this preference even if you disconnect the battery? Or will every battery disconnect require another trip back to the dealer to go back to the custom setting?

If you don't have Navigation, the dealer will have to change that for you via CONSULT (or whatever they call it nowadays). As far as I know, it is a permanent change that will survive a battery disconnect but not 100% sure. Service department should be able to give you a definitive answer when you call to make an appointment.

Thanks for the replies!!!

This is what I kind of expected. Without the menu screens in the Nav system you're unable to make this happen on your own. That's strange but I guess true.

Again, thanks all for your replies.

I love the delay! Nothing like parking your car at night and looking back at those mean looking tail lights!

problem with auto-on/off is that the ballast fires up while im in the garage, then turns off as soon as i back out within a min.

or vise versa, turns on while approaching my parking spot in my garage... only to turn off after.

i keep the stalk turned off.

I don't like where they positioned the auto feature. When you use manual on/off it has to go through the auto position which triggers the lights back on again for a split second before being turned back off again. And the 45 second delay is way too long for default. Something like 15-20 seconds is more than long enough. Why didn't they allow us to change it via the in car settings without NAV? Another 370z driver and friend of mine was following me once in a heavy downpour and he was using the auto position....his lights never came on...
