Good question.
I don't think so -- or more to the point, I don't think anyone who has removed it hasn't replaced it with other braces (e.g., a roll cage). |
I've driven it for a week without it. However, I didn't attempt any spirited driving or the sort, the only thing I noticed that the car became wobbly on normal driving. After that I had a Robispec harness bar installed, the wobble disappeared obviously, all alignments were still in spec, no clue if anything major got affected when I drove the car without it.
